Kendriya Vidyalaya No.3 built in the area of 15 acres, is away from the din and noise of the city, in the top of peaceful greeneries of Allenby lines. Well-furnished double story building has two wings one for Primary and other for the Secondary classes. Since its inception in 1980, the Vidyalaya has been on the path of progress and is now a unique institution of the town having science and commerce stream at +2 stage

.The Vidyalaya provides facilities like computer education well equipped separate laboratories for physics, Chemistry and Biology, a fully air conditioned enriched library with coloured T.V and VCD, Photocopier, SUPW, Music, Audio Visual Teaching Aids, Art and Craft, Recreation and Resource Room etc. besides imparting excellent education, Vidyalaya facilitates the students with ample opportunities to take part in sports, Yoga and C.C.A activities at different levels.
